Bio

Canadian DJ/ Producer em.ash is a curator of underground dance music, creating a hypnotic mix of deep, groove-infused house, rhythmic bass, and low-slung techno on Vancouver Island. Known for his extended sets, dancefloors can expect a deep and evolving musical journey.

em.ash has releases and remixes out on Rennie Foster’s label RF, Haustronaut Recordings, BeatLounge Records, and System Recordings. He is currently working on a number of different projects, most recently his latest release of RF, Umusa, with LadyK featuring remixes by Rennie Foster and Aspen King.

em.ash has been sharing music and producing events across Vancouver Island and the surrounding island communities for nearly two decades. Personal highlights include Other World, Lamplight Gathering, Diversity, Cumberland Wild, Atmosphere Gathering, Lunar Landing, Foolin’ Around, Nootka Sounds Music Festival, Kluth, Big Time Out, and countless intimate events across British Columbia. He continues to work with community groups promoting the arts, culture, and inclusivity.
